APPON has been in the forefront of initiatives in developing pharmaceutical industrial base in Nepal and has set the following objectives.

To develop to the Nepalese Pharmaceutical Industries. |

To increase the friendship and mutual understanding between the member industries. |

To advice the government in formulating the laws, policy and act relating to pharmaceutical production. |

To create an environment of mutual help and understanding between the government and industries. |

To fix the policy for the pharmaceutical production and marketing by analyzing the export-import of pharmaceutical production and keep its statistics. |

To clear and solve the dispute created between the member industries by liaising with them. |

To collaborate with the government in the formulation of pharmaceutical product act, rules and regulation(application of GMP) |

To create a healthy and mutually helping environment by providing education and training for marketing, industrialization, economic and technical aspects with the help of foreign pharmaceutical and related organizations. |

To organize pharmaceutical production, marketing and general health related seminar/training / workshop and publish the news letter, bulletin and books valuable to pharmaceutical industries. |

To help the opening of zonal or district level branch office anywhere in the country as per the requirement set by association. |
